Sime Industrial Brakes manufacture Hydraulic and Electromagnetic brakes which are used as service brakes and emergency brakes. They are operated by hydraulic power packs or electrical coils. The brakes use either solid or ventilated discs or drums.

Svenborg Brakes

Svenborg brakes are manufactured in Denmark, conform to ISO9001 and meet the highest standards for safety and reliability required in large braking applications and multi-function service braking. These brakes require very little maintenance due to few moving parts, offer good torque control and stability, high heat capacity due to large pads, fast reaction time and compact size that allows for easy installation. These brakes are not sensitive to environmental conditions and have many options available for fail-safe controlled braking. Sintered metal linings are also available.
